Paklay ingredients

  1. 1 Red bell peppers
  2. 1 Green bell peppers
  3. Ginger
  4. Onion
  5. Soysauce
  6. Vinegar
  7. Beef Tripe
  8. Cooking Oil
  9. Bay Leaves
  10. Chilli
  11. Ground Black Peppers
  12. Beef Cube


  • Boil 5 cups of water in a large cooking pot.
  • Once the water starts to boil, add 1 tablespoon salt and the  tripe. Boil in medium heat for 60 minutes.
  • Add the kidney and heart. Continue to boil for another 60 minutes or until all the innards are tender. Discard the water and let the innards cool down. Chop the innards and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, heat the cooking oil in a large clean cooking pot.
  • Sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger.
  • Once the onion gets soft, add the chopped innards, bay leaves, and liver. Cook for 3 minutes.
  • Put vinegar and let it simmer for 3 minutes. Then add soysauce , beef cube , salt and pepper.
  • Add the green bell pepper and cook for another 15-20 minutes until the tripe is tender.
  • Serve and enjoy it!
